Happy Independence Day!!!

Today was a VERY long day. It is late as I am writing this, as we just got back from seeing Fireworks in Brockway.

As for the rest of the day, it started off very similar to a regular Scout week.

We had our Polar Bear Swim, and had 100% participation! All 6 Webelos got in the pool. Outside it was 54 degrees, but the Pool was 74... big jump!

Before Breakfast we had our Flag Raising Ceremony, and the Webelos got to help.

Next, just a nice long shot of everyone eating breakfast.

After Breakfast, they went to "Bob's Lumber Yard" (Handicraft) and started working on their project. This year the Webelos made birdhouses.

During lunch, Randy, the C.O.P.E. Instructor led everyone in "God Bless America" as a way to honor the 4th of July.

For Supper, they got to cook in their campsite. They made "Foil Babies" A Foil Baby is hamburger, potatoes, carrots, and a little onion all wrapped tightly together in aluminum foil, and place directly on the coals. Everything cooks together, and flavors each other.

After supper, we all boarded a bus, and rode to Brockway for their annual 4th of July Fireworks. They were pretty nice. All in all, it was a great, but tiring day. I'm going to leave now with pictures from last night's show.
