***Sorry for the late posting, We have had some internet problems, the past 24 hours***
Day 2 started off just like a regular day, Flag Raising, and Breakfast...
I was not able to get around much today, I had my own class! I was in charge of getting the Webelos Closing Campfire set up. How it works, is that the Webelos are the ones who perform the songs, skits, and cheers. They do this to satisfy requirements for their Showmanship Activity Badge. Most packs have been practicing songs and skits for a few months. What my job was, was to find out what they all wanted to do, and create a campfire out of it! I also got to sing for 2 sessions with the Cub Scouts, and that was fun too!
I did end up visiting the HandiCraft Lodge for a minute, and got a few pics of kids working on their birdhouses.
Today was our cook Roberta's birthday. She got these flowers along with a yummy cake made by the Rangers wife Robyn.
The Webelos Scouts were all supposed to go on Outpost, and the Cub Scouts were to have a Black Poweder Demonstration, However, due to the strong wind and rain we got yesterday, Those were cancelled. In its place, we had an Open Swim, and sent each Pack back to their campsite with fixin's for Smores!
Last Day of Webelos/Cub Resident Camp tomorrow!
